How To Uninstall blueproximity On Debian 9

To uninstall blueproximity just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just blueproximity

locks/unlocks your desktop tracking a bluetooth deviceDebian 9.0admin1.2.5-6
sudo apt-get remove blueproximity

This will remove just the blueproximity package itself.

Uninstall blueproximity and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove blueproximity

This will remove the blueproximity package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for blueproximity then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge blueproximity

Or similarly, like this blueproximity

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove blueproximity
