How To Uninstall bluez-hcidump On Debian 9

To uninstall bluez-hcidump just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just bluez-hcidump

Analyses Bluetooth HCI packetsDebian 9.0admin5.43-2
sudo apt-get remove bluez-hcidump

This will remove just the bluez-hcidump package itself.

Uninstall bluez-hcidump and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove bluez-hcidump

This will remove the bluez-hcidump package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for bluez-hcidump then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge bluez-hcidump

Or similarly, like this bluez-hcidump

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove bluez-hcidump
