How To Uninstall bluez-obexd On Debian 9

To uninstall bluez-obexd just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just bluez-obexd

bluez obex daemonDebian 9.0admin5.43-2
sudo apt-get remove bluez-obexd

This will remove just the bluez-obexd package itself.

Uninstall bluez-obexd and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove bluez-obexd

This will remove the bluez-obexd package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for bluez-obexd then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge bluez-obexd

Or similarly, like this bluez-obexd

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove bluez-obexd
