How To Uninstall bluez-tools On Debian 9

To uninstall bluez-tools just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just bluez-tools

Set of tools to manage Bluetooth devices for linuxDebian 9.0utils0.2.0~20140808-5+b2
sudo apt-get remove bluez-tools

This will remove just the bluez-tools package itself.

Uninstall bluez-tools and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove bluez-tools

This will remove the bluez-tools package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for bluez-tools then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge bluez-tools

Or similarly, like this bluez-tools

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove bluez-tools
