How To Uninstall bluez On Debian 9

To uninstall bluez just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just bluez

Bluetooth tools and daemonsDebian 9.0admin5.43-2
sudo apt-get remove bluez

This will remove just the bluez package itself.

Uninstall bluez and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove bluez

This will remove the bluez package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for bluez then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge bluez

Or similarly, like this bluez

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove bluez
