How To Uninstall bmagic On Debian 9

To uninstall bmagic just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just bmagic

C++ template library for efficient platform independent bitsetsDebian 9.0libdevel3.7.0-3
sudo apt-get remove bmagic

This will remove just the bmagic package itself.

Uninstall bmagic and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove bmagic

This will remove the bmagic package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for bmagic then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge bmagic

Or similarly, like this bmagic

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove bmagic
