How To Uninstall bmap-tools On Debian 9

To uninstall bmap-tools just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just bmap-tools

tool to flash image files to block devices using the block mapDebian 9.0utils3.2-5
sudo apt-get remove bmap-tools

This will remove just the bmap-tools package itself.

Uninstall bmap-tools and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove bmap-tools

This will remove the bmap-tools package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for bmap-tools then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge bmap-tools

Or similarly, like this bmap-tools

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove bmap-tools
