How To Uninstall bmon On Debian 9

To uninstall bmon just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just bmon

portable bandwidth monitor and rate estimatorDebian 9.0net1:4.0-1
sudo apt-get remove bmon

This will remove just the bmon package itself.

Uninstall bmon and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove bmon

This will remove the bmon package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for bmon then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge bmon

Or similarly, like this bmon

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove bmon
