How To Uninstall bmt On Debian 9

To uninstall bmt just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just bmt

software analysis benchmarking toolkitDebian 9.0science0.6-1
sudo apt-get remove bmt

This will remove just the bmt package itself.

Uninstall bmt and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove bmt

This will remove the bmt package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for bmt then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge bmt

Or similarly, like this bmt

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove bmt
