How To Uninstall bnfc On Debian 9

To uninstall bnfc just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just bnfc

Compiler front-end generator based on Labelled BNFDebian 9.0devel2.8.1-3
sudo apt-get remove bnfc

This will remove just the bnfc package itself.

Uninstall bnfc and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove bnfc

This will remove the bnfc package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for bnfc then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge bnfc

Or similarly, like this bnfc

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove bnfc
