How To Uninstall bonnie++ On Debian 9

To uninstall bonnie++ just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just bonnie++

Hard drive benchmark suiteDebian 9.0utils1.97.3
sudo apt-get remove bonnie++

This will remove just the bonnie++ package itself.

Uninstall bonnie++ and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove bonnie++

This will remove the bonnie++ package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for bonnie++ then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge bonnie++

Or similarly, like this bonnie++

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove bonnie++
