How To Uninstall boot-info-script On Debian 9

To uninstall boot-info-script just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just boot-info-script

inspect boot environmentDebian 9.0admin0.61-2
sudo apt-get remove boot-info-script

This will remove just the boot-info-script package itself.

Uninstall boot-info-script and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove boot-info-script

This will remove the boot-info-script package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for boot-info-script then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge boot-info-script

Or similarly, like this boot-info-script

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove boot-info-script
