How To Uninstall bootcd On Debian 9

To uninstall bootcd just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just bootcd

run your system from cd without need for disksDebian 9.0utils5.05
sudo apt-get remove bootcd

This will remove just the bootcd package itself.

Uninstall bootcd and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove bootcd

This will remove the bootcd package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for bootcd then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge bootcd

Or similarly, like this bootcd

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove bootcd
