How To Uninstall bootchart2 On Debian 9

To uninstall bootchart2 just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just bootchart2

boot process performance analyserDebian 9.0utils0.14.4-3+b1
sudo apt-get remove bootchart2

This will remove just the bootchart2 package itself.

Uninstall bootchart2 and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove bootchart2

This will remove the bootchart2 package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for bootchart2 then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge bootchart2

Or similarly, like this bootchart2

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove bootchart2
