How To Uninstall bootparamd On Debian 9

To uninstall bootparamd just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just bootparamd

Boot parameter serverDebian 9.0net0.17-9+b2
sudo apt-get remove bootparamd

This will remove just the bootparamd package itself.

Uninstall bootparamd and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove bootparamd

This will remove the bootparamd package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for bootparamd then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge bootparamd

Or similarly, like this bootparamd

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove bootparamd
