How To Uninstall borgbackup-doc On Debian 9

To uninstall borgbackup-doc just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just borgbackup-doc

deduplicating and compressing backup program (documentation)Debian 9.0doc1.0.9-1
sudo apt-get remove borgbackup-doc

This will remove just the borgbackup-doc package itself.

Uninstall borgbackup-doc and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove borgbackup-doc

This will remove the borgbackup-doc package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for borgbackup-doc then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge borgbackup-doc

Or similarly, like this borgbackup-doc

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove borgbackup-doc
