How To Uninstall botan1.10-dbg On Debian 9

To uninstall botan1.10-dbg just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just botan1.10-dbg

multiplatform crypto library (debug)Debian 9.0debug1.10.16-1
sudo apt-get remove botan1.10-dbg

This will remove just the botan1.10-dbg package itself.

Uninstall botan1.10-dbg and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove botan1.10-dbg

This will remove the botan1.10-dbg package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for botan1.10-dbg then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge botan1.10-dbg

Or similarly, like this botan1.10-dbg

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove botan1.10-dbg
