How To Uninstall boxbackup-server On Debian 9

To uninstall boxbackup-server just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just boxbackup-server

server for the BoxBackup remote backup systemDebian 9.0utils0.11.1~r2837-4
sudo apt-get remove boxbackup-server

This will remove just the boxbackup-server package itself.

Uninstall boxbackup-server and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove boxbackup-server

This will remove the boxbackup-server package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for boxbackup-server then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge boxbackup-server

Or similarly, like this boxbackup-server

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove boxbackup-server
