How To Uninstall bplay On Debian 9

To uninstall bplay just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just bplay

Buffered audio file player/recorderDebian 9.0sound0.991-10+b2
sudo apt-get remove bplay

This will remove just the bplay package itself.

Uninstall bplay and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove bplay

This will remove the bplay package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for bplay then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge bplay

Or similarly, like this bplay

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove bplay
