How To Uninstall brandy On Debian 9

To uninstall brandy just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just brandy

BBC BASIC V interpreterDebian 9.0interpreters1.20.1-1+b1
sudo apt-get remove brandy

This will remove just the brandy package itself.

Uninstall brandy and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove brandy

This will remove the brandy package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for brandy then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge brandy

Or similarly, like this brandy

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove brandy
