How To Uninstall brasero-cdrkit On Debian 9

To uninstall brasero-cdrkit just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just brasero-cdrkit

cdrkit extensions for the Brasero burning applicationDebian 9.0gnome3.12.1-4
sudo apt-get remove brasero-cdrkit

This will remove just the brasero-cdrkit package itself.

Uninstall brasero-cdrkit and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove brasero-cdrkit

This will remove the brasero-cdrkit package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for brasero-cdrkit then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge brasero-cdrkit

Or similarly, like this brasero-cdrkit

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove brasero-cdrkit
