How To Uninstall brltty-speechd On Debian 9

To uninstall brltty-speechd just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just brltty-speechd

Access software for a blind person - Speech Dispatcher driverDebian 9.0admin5.4-7
sudo apt-get remove brltty-speechd

This will remove just the brltty-speechd package itself.

Uninstall brltty-speechd and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove brltty-speechd

This will remove the brltty-speechd package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for brltty-speechd then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge brltty-speechd

Or similarly, like this brltty-speechd

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove brltty-speechd
