How To Uninstall bruteforce-luks On Debian 9

To uninstall bruteforce-luks just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just bruteforce-luks

Try to find a password of a LUKS encrypted volumeDebian 9.0utils1.2.2-1
sudo apt-get remove bruteforce-luks

This will remove just the bruteforce-luks package itself.

Uninstall bruteforce-luks and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove bruteforce-luks

This will remove the bruteforce-luks package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for bruteforce-luks then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge bruteforce-luks

Or similarly, like this bruteforce-luks

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove bruteforce-luks
