How To Uninstall bsdiff On Debian 9

To uninstall bsdiff just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just bsdiff

generate/apply a patch between two binary filesDebian 9.0utils4.3-19
sudo apt-get remove bsdiff

This will remove just the bsdiff package itself.

Uninstall bsdiff and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove bsdiff

This will remove the bsdiff package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for bsdiff then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge bsdiff

Or similarly, like this bsdiff

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove bsdiff
