How To Uninstall bsdmainutils On Debian 9

To uninstall bsdmainutils just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just bsdmainutils

collection of more utilities from FreeBSDDebian 9.0utils9.0.12+nmu1
sudo apt-get remove bsdmainutils

This will remove just the bsdmainutils package itself.

Uninstall bsdmainutils and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove bsdmainutils

This will remove the bsdmainutils package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for bsdmainutils then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge bsdmainutils

Or similarly, like this bsdmainutils

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove bsdmainutils
