How To Uninstall bsdowl On Debian 9

To uninstall bsdowl just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just bsdowl

Universal portable build system written for BSD MakeDebian 9.0devel2.2.2-1
sudo apt-get remove bsdowl

This will remove just the bsdowl package itself.

Uninstall bsdowl and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove bsdowl

This will remove the bsdowl package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for bsdowl then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge bsdowl

Or similarly, like this bsdowl

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove bsdowl
