How To Uninstall bsh-src On Debian 9

To uninstall bsh-src just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just bsh-src

Java scripting environment (BeanShell) Version 2 (source code)Debian 9.0java2.0b4-18
sudo apt-get remove bsh-src

This will remove just the bsh-src package itself.

Uninstall bsh-src and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove bsh-src

This will remove the bsh-src package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for bsh-src then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge bsh-src

Or similarly, like this bsh-src

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove bsh-src
