How To Uninstall bsh On Debian 9

To uninstall bsh just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just bsh

Java scripting environment (BeanShell) Version 2Debian 9.0devel2.0b4-18
sudo apt-get remove bsh

This will remove just the bsh package itself.

Uninstall bsh and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove bsh

This will remove the bsh package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for bsh then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge bsh

Or similarly, like this bsh

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove bsh
