How To Uninstall btrfs-tools-dbg On Debian 9

To uninstall btrfs-tools-dbg just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just btrfs-tools-dbg

transitional dummy packageDebian 9.0debug4.7.3-1
sudo apt-get remove btrfs-tools-dbg

This will remove just the btrfs-tools-dbg package itself.

Uninstall btrfs-tools-dbg and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove btrfs-tools-dbg

This will remove the btrfs-tools-dbg package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for btrfs-tools-dbg then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge btrfs-tools-dbg

Or similarly, like this btrfs-tools-dbg

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove btrfs-tools-dbg
