How To Uninstall btscanner On Debian 9

To uninstall btscanner just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just btscanner

ncurses-based scanner for Bluetooth devicesDebian 9.0net2.1-5.1+b2
sudo apt-get remove btscanner

This will remove just the btscanner package itself.

Uninstall btscanner and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove btscanner

This will remove the btscanner package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for btscanner then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge btscanner

Or similarly, like this btscanner

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove btscanner
