How To Uninstall btyacc On Debian 9

To uninstall btyacc just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just btyacc

Backtracking parser generator based on byaccDebian 9.0devel3.0-5+b2
sudo apt-get remove btyacc

This will remove just the btyacc package itself.

Uninstall btyacc and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove btyacc

This will remove the btyacc package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for btyacc then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge btyacc

Or similarly, like this btyacc

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove btyacc
