How To Uninstall bum On Debian 9

To uninstall bum just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just bum

graphical runlevel editorDebian 9.0admin2.5.2-1
sudo apt-get remove bum

This will remove just the bum package itself.

Uninstall bum and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove bum

This will remove the bum package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for bum then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge bum

Or similarly, like this bum

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove bum
