How To Uninstall burn On Debian 9

To uninstall burn just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just burn

command-line tool for writing optical mediaDebian 9.0otherosfs0.4.6-2
sudo apt-get remove burn

This will remove just the burn package itself.

Uninstall burn and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove burn

This will remove the burn package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for burn then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge burn

Or similarly, like this burn

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove burn
