How To Uninstall bwctl-client On Debian 9

To uninstall bwctl-client just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just bwctl-client

bandwidth test controller (client)Debian 9.0net1.5.4+dfsg1-1+b1
sudo apt-get remove bwctl-client

This will remove just the bwctl-client package itself.

Uninstall bwctl-client and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove bwctl-client

This will remove the bwctl-client package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for bwctl-client then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge bwctl-client

Or similarly, like this bwctl-client

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove bwctl-client
