How To Uninstall bwctl-server On Debian 9

To uninstall bwctl-server just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just bwctl-server

bandwidth test controller (server)Debian 9.0net1.5.4+dfsg1-1+b1
sudo apt-get remove bwctl-server

This will remove just the bwctl-server package itself.

Uninstall bwctl-server and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove bwctl-server

This will remove the bwctl-server package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for bwctl-server then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge bwctl-server

Or similarly, like this bwctl-server

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove bwctl-server
