How To Uninstall bzr On Debian 9

To uninstall bzr just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just bzr

easy to use distributed version control systemDebian 9.0vcs2.7.0+bzr6619-7
sudo apt-get remove bzr

This will remove just the bzr package itself.

Uninstall bzr and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove bzr

This will remove the bzr package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for bzr then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge bzr

Or similarly, like this bzr

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove bzr
