How To Uninstall ca-certificates-java On Debian 9

To uninstall ca-certificates-java just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ca-certificates-java

Common CA certificates (JKS keystore)Debian 9.0java20170531+nmu1
sudo apt-get remove ca-certificates-java

This will remove just the ca-certificates-java package itself.

Uninstall ca-certificates-java and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ca-certificates-java

This will remove the ca-certificates-java package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ca-certificates-java then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ca-certificates-java

Or similarly, like this ca-certificates-java

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ca-certificates-java
