How To Uninstall cakephp On Debian 9

To uninstall cakephp just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just cakephp

rapid application development framework for PHPDebian 9.0web2.8.5-1
sudo apt-get remove cakephp

This will remove just the cakephp package itself.

Uninstall cakephp and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove cakephp

This will remove the cakephp package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for cakephp then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge cakephp

Or similarly, like this cakephp

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove cakephp
