How To Uninstall camera.app On Debian 9

To uninstall camera.app just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just camera.app

GNUstep application for digital still camerasDebian 9.0gnustep0.8.0-10+b2
sudo apt-get remove camera.app

This will remove just the camera.app package itself.

Uninstall camera.app and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove camera.app

This will remove the camera.app package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for camera.app then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge camera.app

Or similarly, like this camera.app

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove camera.app
