How To Uninstall canna On Debian 9

To uninstall canna just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just canna

input system for Japanese - server and dictionaryDebian 9.0utils3.7p3-13.1+b1
sudo apt-get remove canna

This will remove just the canna package itself.

Uninstall canna and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove canna

This will remove the canna package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for canna then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge canna

Or similarly, like this canna

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove canna
