How To Uninstall cgroupfs-mount On Debian 9

To uninstall cgroupfs-mount just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just cgroupfs-mount

Light-weight package to set up cgroupfs mountsDebian 9.0admin1.3
sudo apt-get remove cgroupfs-mount

This will remove just the cgroupfs-mount package itself.

Uninstall cgroupfs-mount and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove cgroupfs-mount

This will remove the cgroupfs-mount package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for cgroupfs-mount then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge cgroupfs-mount

Or similarly, like this cgroupfs-mount

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove cgroupfs-mount
