How To Uninstall cmake-data On Debian 9

To uninstall cmake-data just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just cmake-data

CMake data files (modules, templates and documentation)Debian 9.0devel3.7.2-1
sudo apt-get remove cmake-data

This will remove just the cmake-data package itself.

Uninstall cmake-data and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove cmake-data

This will remove the cmake-data package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for cmake-data then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge cmake-data

Or similarly, like this cmake-data

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove cmake-data
