How To Uninstall dante-server On Debian 9

To uninstall dante-server just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just dante-server

SOCKS (v4 and v5) proxy daemon (danted)Debian 9.0net1.4.1+dfsg-5
sudo apt-get remove dante-server

This will remove just the dante-server package itself.

Uninstall dante-server and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove dante-server

This will remove the dante-server package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for dante-server then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge dante-server

Or similarly, like this dante-server

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove dante-server
