How To Uninstall das-watchdog On Debian 9

To uninstall das-watchdog just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just das-watchdog

solves system lock-ups by making all processes non-realtimeDebian 9.0admin0.9.0-3.2+b2
sudo apt-get remove das-watchdog

This will remove just the das-watchdog package itself.

Uninstall das-watchdog and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove das-watchdog

This will remove the das-watchdog package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for das-watchdog then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge das-watchdog

Or similarly, like this das-watchdog

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove das-watchdog
