How To Uninstall datamash On Debian 9

To uninstall datamash just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just datamash

statistics tool for command-line interfaceDebian 9.0utils1.0.7-1
sudo apt-get remove datamash

This will remove just the datamash package itself.

Uninstall datamash and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove datamash

This will remove the datamash package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for datamash then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge datamash

Or similarly, like this datamash

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove datamash
