How To Uninstall davfs2 On Debian 9

To uninstall davfs2 just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just davfs2

mount a WebDAV resource as a regular file systemDebian 9.0utils1.5.4-2+b1
sudo apt-get remove davfs2

This will remove just the davfs2 package itself.

Uninstall davfs2 and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove davfs2

This will remove the davfs2 package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for davfs2 then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge davfs2

Or similarly, like this davfs2

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove davfs2
