How To Uninstall dbconfig-pgsql On Debian 9

To uninstall dbconfig-pgsql just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just dbconfig-pgsql

dbconfig-common PostgreSQL supportDebian 9.0admin2.0.8
sudo apt-get remove dbconfig-pgsql

This will remove just the dbconfig-pgsql package itself.

Uninstall dbconfig-pgsql and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove dbconfig-pgsql

This will remove the dbconfig-pgsql package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for dbconfig-pgsql then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge dbconfig-pgsql

Or similarly, like this dbconfig-pgsql

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove dbconfig-pgsql
