How To Uninstall dbeacon On Debian 9

To uninstall dbeacon just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just dbeacon

Multicast beaconDebian 9.0net0.4.0-2
sudo apt-get remove dbeacon

This will remove just the dbeacon package itself.

Uninstall dbeacon and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove dbeacon

This will remove the dbeacon package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for dbeacon then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge dbeacon

Or similarly, like this dbeacon

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove dbeacon
