How To Uninstall dbus-user-session On Debian 9

To uninstall dbus-user-session just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just dbus-user-session

simple interprocess messaging system (systemd --user integration)Debian 9.0admin1.10.18-1
sudo apt-get remove dbus-user-session

This will remove just the dbus-user-session package itself.

Uninstall dbus-user-session and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove dbus-user-session

This will remove the dbus-user-session package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for dbus-user-session then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge dbus-user-session

Or similarly, like this dbus-user-session

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove dbus-user-session
