How To Uninstall dconf-editor On Debian 9

To uninstall dconf-editor just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just dconf-editor

simple configuration storage system - graphical editorDebian 9.0utils3.22.3-1
sudo apt-get remove dconf-editor

This will remove just the dconf-editor package itself.

Uninstall dconf-editor and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove dconf-editor

This will remove the dconf-editor package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for dconf-editor then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge dconf-editor

Or similarly, like this dconf-editor

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove dconf-editor
